What kind of pedal arrangement would you use with three basses?
There is a very common product these days that is 2 beaters on one BD. Your right foot plays right by the drum but the left foot is on a secondary pedal. The purpose of this is to do 2 BD parts but just have one actual drum. Your left foot can play on the pedal that is away from the actual drum but strike it remotely.
In the above scenario, you would likely have an individual pedal on the drum to the right, same for the middle but then the furthest BD would be controlled with one half of the above described remote pedal, which can play a drum that is a couple feet away. You would alternate which pedal you wanted to use at that point. Of course, some people have taken this to... um, extremes (this is one of the setups of the legendary Terry Bozzio):

I know this advert for raising giant frogs! I followed it, but no one wanted to buy the frogs...
I believe that this is a deliberate misleading of the sender (Come here and get your giant frogs!)
Edit: I just received a Frank Lloyd Wright postcard as apology. I will think about accepting....

Love your desk and sneakers.....
Frankly, I prefer minimalist music, Gene Krupa and a couple of match sticks... that's something...
