You certainly do not.

Another interesting UK ebay auction that I saw today.
But in a different way

Look at the bidding list………
It is a interesting way of bidding to scare off any other bidders.
Or not…….

The pen set looked fine to me, as did the seller.
Even through the out of focus image - it is genuine 18K nib.
Over the years I have spent a vast amount of time looking at Chinese Sonnet fakes, they are easily spotted if you have the right eye
On UK ebay there are only 3 sellers right now, all UK based.
The saddest sight that you will ever see is a genuine seller selling his fake sonnet and believing it is a genuine Parker Sonnet
The Parker 51 purse set seems overpriced, but probably isn't. A set of the remake I think would cost more.
Another interesting ebay UK that I noticed recently.

I had no idea that PARKER 17 SUPER DUOFOLD's were worth this much.
A lot of money already, and still 3 days to go.
Must admit that it has everything, chalk malks, new, boxed, rare nib and less of them around as compared to 10 years ago.
The trouble is what do you do with it, just look at it or use it and turn a £200 pen into a £25 pen instantly?

I fear that you misunderstood my comments.
Most in the UK are very aware of TS ‘s intrgrity as a seller and WES member
The point was what buyers will bid / pay for certain pens
RobJohnson,
Sir,
May I ask this question please
What would you pay for the very same pen offered by a private UK ebay seller
Too bad I don't carry a purse.
