Holly is a gentle soul and will make a great pet.

Right! I wish we weren't all the way "across the pond."

It does not show in the picture but Holly is quite a small Labrador in the UK it is known as the working type however she is a little overweight this maybe due to a lack of exercise, although she has been used for breeding so please keep your fingers crossed that we don't end up with lots of little Holly's one morning

Sadly my experience of dog rescue is that dogs like Holly are hard to rehome, she will be at the vets this week for a check up.
I will keep you updated on her progress.

That's a shame. In the area I live....she would be adopted in a week. Everyone is a Labrador dog lover. Highly wanted. I wish holly big hugs for a safe home. Keep us posted if she's pregnant.

She is still looking for a new home but she will be safe here until the rescue finds one for her.

When Tia left us she went to a long term foster home in the country where she could run around to her hearts content the rescue had bought her her very own little house and run and she was very content.
Sadly Tia had to be put to sleep yesterday as her kidneys had failed, although she spent most of her time in her own world there were moments when she would rest her chin on my knee and she was calm.
    She is at peace now
