If we are to believe the story, Chamberlain was a skilled diplomat that outsmarted Hitler as the movie ends with the following text: "The extra time bought by the Munich agreement enabled Great Britain and her allies to prepare for the war and ultimately led to Germany's defeat." Well... that's one way to see it. Anyway, according to the movie, the Munich accords were signed with a dip pen with a stub nib:
