Jens, I tried your system....with an orange colour gel and a rustic UV described above:
I assume my crude lighting doesn't work as well...

No not really. The only this that shines is highlighter ink.......But my orange sharpies and Apache sunset are indifferent. It is possible that my makeshift UV light is not really working
This is without filter.....
The first two squares plus all written text besides (Sharpie) are Noodler's General, The 3rd square a Green highlighter, 4th yellow highlighter.
The big blob of orange and red is a couple of drop of Noodler's Apache sunset...

I hope you don't mind if post a last photo to show the fluorescence of the ink....
I procured a UV flash light just to make sure
I thought it might interest some....
Neither the sharpies/ nor Apache Sunset glow but General of the Armies does...
Fascinating

Hi Yazeh,
sure, that's interesting...
What confuses me a bit, that we sometimes see blue sometimes green fluorescence...
Best

Jens,
Mine was a sample. But from what I've read, there is a blue dye in the green ink. And the bottle must be shook before inking a pen.
The ink is supposed to write green and turn into blue.
On another forum I read that the green will fade with time...and the blue remain.....
Hope this answers your question
Are we going to see a new mystery ink? I think Bebox was the last person to guess correctly.

s'funny, I was wondering about this today too. Evidently ink identifiers can't manage a whole month without itching for a new mystery.
I've definitely seen bebox online, so hopefully all is well.

What’s the protocol when someone goes awol? Quarantine seems like an ideal time to guess inks.
Generally someone has just picked up the baton and posted something else. Which, given I had this on hand anyway, I shall now do.
Different format, 'cos there's three of them and they weren't originally intended as mystery inks. However, I can tell you the bottom one is water resistant and the top one really isn't. And none of them are glittery, shimmery, or sheeny. Three guesses a go, 'cos there are three inks. First ink guessed is the winner; get all three and you'll be crowned over-achiever of the month. Oh, and the paper looks pink because, well, it is.

Thanks Weevil, for posting. Sailor Jentle Doyou? For one to the three?

I can't think of a single gray ink in my collection, so I'll go with the first one that comes to mind, MB Oyster Gray (or whatever they call it now).
Sailor Gray (for number 3)
The game's afoot. Excellent.
None of the three, I fear.
'Tis not nary a one, whatever they call it. I've come close to pulling the trigger on it, or its renamed cousin, but somehow never succumbed.
Ah, no, it's not.
Let me eliminate approximately 2000 inks and say none of the three are made by Sailor.

Noodler's Lexington Grey?
Grey isn't my forte, but here goes another, Montblanc Oyster Grey?
The bottom one is Lexington Grey. You said it was water resistant :-)
