I don't know if this is hype, but it's an interesting quest for the favorite color. And the video is entrancing..

Personally, it's a color I dislike.

I think it is beautiful.

This reminds me of the movie "Ex Machina"; when Ava asks Caleb Smith what his favorite color is, he answers "red" only to find Ava accusing him of lying; He wonders what is his favorite color in this case, then realizes that "...since I am no longer six years old, I don't have a favorite color", an answer Ava finds satisfactory.
I guess that's why I am so drawn to tertiary colors, and often grey(ish) and brown(ish) shades, these days. And find primarysecondary colors and the like only tolerable in multivarious combinations: much closer to nature, and much more reflective of the many mixed experiences after a near lifetime of seeing colors...
Nice color, but would you want your birthday cake be this shade?

It's not a personal favourite, but it is definitely a colour referenced in nature. When the sun shines and reflects off the sandy seabed, I've often seen exactly this shade in the clear shallow waters of Port Phillip Bay, close by our local beach. The shades of aqua, turquoise, green and blue are quite mesmerising.
Here is an aerial shot of our town. Not the best shot, but you can see the colours in the water of Port Phillip on the right of the picture.

It does nothing for me.

They did not include me on the survey. I would have picked a green, but not that one. That one gives me hives just looking at it briefly.

I wonder if it is close to the darker shaded areas on Pelikan Edelstein-Jade. That is what it reminds me of anyway. It sort of reminds me of Diamine-Steel Blue, but a bit more green. I guess these are the colors you love or hate. I love them!

Sorry, I could not pick a single favorite color. I like many: reds, blues and purples. The one mentioned in the article is fine.

That is an interesting story. While it's not my personal favorite color, I can see why it has mass appeal.
Interesting colour.
I wouldn't mind a car with some spots painted with that ink.
Such a cold AND garish color IMHO. I'm more of a earth tone kinda guy. A very pale olive or off white paper is more my speed.
