I was done by a friend of Masuyama's. I gave him the pen at the Atlanta show to be sent off and did not expect to get it till the DC show. That was the plan originally but he finished it early and sent it to me direct.

Ill get some more pictures and a video up of it soon.

I have been unable to buy a new pen for quite some time, but a couple weeks ago was browsing eBay and found a Jinhao 159 for Can$4.19 including postage. I thought that I could afford to gamble that much and it arrived in surprisingly short time from Hong Kong. It have it here filled with Navajo Turquoise. I am rather impressed with the value for money. It is a large, heavy pen pen, so I will not be using it for extended writing. The nib is surprisingly smooth. The only prep work I did was to flush it with clean water. It came with a Safari style converter, which works nicely. Not bad for the price of half a pint.

I caved in and got a Twsbi AL in lava orange. Well, technically I haven't got it yet, but hopefully it will arrive in a couple of weeks.

A Romus demonstrator arrived for me yesterday.

It has occurred to me that if I am writing with Iron Gall inks, this should enable me to see if it needs cleaning before I expect it to, and also to see how well I have managed to clean it. If all goes well with the IG, I may branch out to forbidden drawing inks, to be cleaned after every use...

I just got these two in the mail Friday. This is a Parker 51 set in Nassau Green.

The next pen is an Esterbrook Dollar Fifty pen and pencil in the rare Green Cracked Ice pattern. I have been looking for these for a long time.

Both are lovely. My favorite on the Parker 51. The gold cap and Nassau Green are a perfect combination and that Esterbrook Green Cracked Ice patter is one I am going to add to my collection!
