Good morning everyone... actually it's a pretty snowy morning here in New Hampshire. As a newbie to this site and to pen geekdom I just want to say hello and thank everyone in advance for answering my dumb questions to come. I have be given two fountain pens in my life: first, a Sheaffer snorkel for my high school graduation in 1955 and secondly a Montblanc Meisterstuck in 1985. I decided recently to "restore" the snorkel and that has led me down the rabbit hole of buying and restoring a wide range of vintage Sheaffer pens (flat tops, ring tops, balance, touchdowns, and of course snorkels). So the goal was to find and restore 13 pens... one for each of my grandkids. By now I think I'm up to around 25 and somehow I keep going... I think I'm hooked! Glad to be here.
