Love that sharpener.
Love that sharpener.

For this picture, I was inspired on the one hand by the shape of the Tombow Oceanic, but on the other hand also by a Japanese animated film that I recently watched with the kids.
In "Ponyo - the great adventure by the sea" there are a lot of prehistoric sea animals to see!

Glad you're sticking with FPG, Christof.
Thank you catbert and will!
Christof, you continue to delight multiple senses and enjoyments: visual flair, historical pen interest, graphic design, and the joy of the poetry of the eye. elements such as the drop shadow under the tail of the fish, lending the third dimension to the artwork, make this the happy moment that often comes when I see in my "What's New" that you have a post up. Thank you for sharing your pens and your gifts with us.

Loving the fishy theme
Christof, your photography is as amazing as ever.
Are you by any chance also into keyboards? I could swear someone doing photography this good just like you, with this blue L logo and an HHKB Type S in white. Or was that a dream? And for some reason I could swear you're from Norway.
I tried finding it and I couldn't and I'm questioning my sanity now.
Thank you, but here seems to be a confusion...
I am not interested neither in software nor in hardware. My only requirement is that things (computers) work the way they should (just like fountain pens should do). Even my interest in cameras has been extinguished since digitalization. Digital devices are just tools to me. I'm sorry.
From my profile it is easy to see that I am not Norwegian although I appreciate both country and people (hei mine venner!). "Confoederatio Helvetica" is the Latin name of my homeland, Switzerland.
My avatar is stolen (I did steal it), but not from the internet but from LAMY. It's the former Logo of the company:
I am using this avatar on the only 4 forums I am member of:
Fountainpengeeks, (Fountainpennetwork), Penexchange.de and stylo-plume.org
And last but not least: I'm not the only one who can take presentable photographs and show them on the Internet.

@Christof
You may not be the only one who can take presentable photos, but you are the only one who generally posts photos of INTERESTING pens!
Thanks Christof. Maybe I am losing my mind and should get it checked out.
...found a nice vintage Rotring trio-pen.
special thing is that there are three different lead sizes instead of ballpoint colors...

Is the Trio a single pencil loaded simultaneously with three leads, or does it require reloading with each lead, or is the Trio actually a set of three pencils?
