It is always good to find a kindred soul, and it appears here we have many. Not a lot from my neck of the woods in Canada, but hello to everyone where every you may be.

Been a fountain pen lover since my grandfather passed along a well used cartridge Schrieffer when I started using a pen in school. I later received a Waterman lever from him and it sits now in need of repair, but his love of pen and ink came with it. His use of a fountain pen was not just borne from it being the standard of his day, as he shunned ballpoints believing that "being able to write faster does not make for better writing". That love of the process from the maintenance of the pen, to choosing the ink and paper is something I have adopted for myself.

I'm sure many have stories of how this addiction, or should you prefer passion, began for them and I look forward to reading and sharing as my FP Saga continues ...
