Give away multi-hint time: I can't see it where I am now, nor could I ever see it, it can't be seen, only its effects can be observed. It, in itself, is not flat, though its effects on nearby objects may be perceived as flat. It is not a man-made object, thankfully, not yet. There are indeed multiples of the object, evidence suggests that there is at least one at the center of every galaxy. While it is not a star, asteroid, space debris, or even space-coal, it is made of those guesses and collects them with a vengeance. While I can't say for certain that it is not alive, current science does not consider it as such.
