Hello from the Bluegrass State!

Hi, this is my first time on fpgeeks and my first post. Prior to joining, I got my FP community fix from r/fountainpens and r/Pen_Swap. I'm looking forward to being part of this community!

My FP collection started about 1.5 years ago with a Pilot Metro, then a Lamy Safari, and then it was off to the races!

Speaking of races, The Kentucky Derby was pushed back until the fall, which marks only the second time it has been delayed/cancelled (the first in 1945). This is a BIG DEAL in KY (because all we really have going for us are horses and bourbon). The week leading up to Derby is full of celebrations (Thunder Over Louisville, Pegasus Parade, Thurby, Oaks, etc). Hopefully, we'll have everything rescheduled in September!

I don't know how I got off on that tangent...
