Default Comet NEOWISE recorded in a paper observatory log

Comet NEOWISE has passed the sun and is easily visible to the naked eye about an hour after sunset.

How to see it? This links to my blog post about last night's observing session, including a scan of the notes I made in my observatory log with my Montblanc Classique. I drew what I saw with a Palomino Blackwing Pearl pencil.

After visiting Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff Arizona in 1993, I bought a paper notebook to record what I would see in the telescope that trip inspired me to buy.

    Enjoy!
