Hello from a fellow sufferer of the pen affliction, living in Lincolnshire, England.

It is a few years since I realized that I was collecting Parker pens rather than simply accumulating them accidentally so now I am trying to focus mainly on Parker 51s, 61s, and early Sonnets otherwise Goodness knows where it will end! That said I am still partial to the odd other Parker that simply catches the imagination for whatever reason… I think the Parker thing stems from receiving Parkers of one variety or another as childhood Christmas or birthday presents.

My everyday writer is a battered late Parker 61 Mk III with a smooth broad-ish nib that replaced an old Sonnet rollerball a few years ago and has never let me down.

I hope that as well as learning from other forum members I might be able to contribute a little from whatever little knowledge I might have picked up along the way.
