Hello.

I'm wrinting from Brazil.

I brought a Parker 51. Medium nib.

The cap is the transitional cap, with long clip. No halo logo from Parker, only: "Parker". in th other side: "51"1/10 12 ct R GOLD.

In the barrel no inscription. I think someone in the past polished the barrel. The color is plum, I think.

The filler inscriptions:
PARKER "51"
TO FILL PRESS RIBBED BAR
FIRMLY 4 TIMES
USE DRY WRITING
SUPERCHROME INK
HOLDING PEN FRONT
DOWN, WIPE POINT
WITH SOFT TISSUE
THE PARKER PEN CO.
MADE IN U.S.A.

The problems I see: thinking the cap is english. Long clip: only 1948/49. The filler is american, but 4 times (in stainless steel, since 1950) The color, if is plum, only in 1948/49 according http://parker51.com/.

I know that English Parkers 51 sometimes have mixed parts.

I don't know if I have a frankenpen or a english mixed parts pen.

Someone can help me?
