I once asked about nibs with feedback. Now, I'd like opinions on the the smoothest standard #6 nib.

No stock, bare nibs being put out today are a drop-dead guarantee. In both Jowo and Bock, I've had good nibs and those that needed adjustment (at least). There are no guarantees in the open-market retail nib world.

Out of the box, pilot and twsbi. However, get your nib tuned (e.g.free tuning from nibsmith with purchase!) for absolute certainty and enjoyment.
If it could be other than a standard #6, Dupont has some very smooth nibs.
Loose nibs............Goulet (made by Jowo?) are drop dead gorgeous and smooth, have a few of them. All my Jowo (nib units) are smooth, especially Franklin Christoph, which are extremely over the top in satisfaction. Some older Conklin [#6] nibs were junk, on the occasion Noodler's are hit or miss? I have 1 Bock that I have not tried yet.
The older Bexley nibs, made by Bock/? were smooth, but very erratic in flow (stop-starting). Vintage Waterman nibs close to #6 were always smooth, Parker-Sheaffer (vintage) were mostly smooth, but with a tad more feedback. Larger Conklin were very nice and smooth, same thing with Omas, Mont Blanc, Pelikan and all the Japanese (Pilot, Sailor, Platinum, etc.) #10's-15's. Do not own any larger Eversharp nibs? Most of my larger "warranted" are all smooth with semi-flex to flex
