    Default Carpal Tunnel surgery--anyone had it?

    Long story short, I'm having it done on both hands in a few weeks. Any words of wisdom?

    I'm going to stockpile heavy stuff now, and I have lots of books to read. Doc says hand numbness usually lasts 2-4 weeks but the pain should go away almost immediately.
