Thats neat stuff. I do hope you find more of it on your hard drive :-)
Well this certainly reinforces the fact that I need to check out some of the iroshizuku inks by Pilot! Thanks for the post Apotheosis, I too hope you can find some more!
Why spidey never took up penmanship !
this was a quickie - sorry for the messy work !
Awesome! Wow, I really like this one too! You are really talented!
This is really cool - awesome.
Wow, this is awesome! Please, please, please keep this stuff coming. I can't get enough!
My simplified version of Whiplash (minus Mickey Rourke, the ugly teeth, trashy tats, the Russian accent and hair) !!
Sorry - the scan quality was bad !
i did some adjustments later to tone down the muscles but OMG I lost the new scans dangit !

What!!! - no FP in this one? just kidding. Its really cool - I'm really impressed.
You're right about the proportions of the muscles though - aren't the thighs just a bit longish?
Hi SMK,
You're absolutely right
I did a trim on the length and 'roundness' of the legs in the newer scan but i guess I didnt save the scan properly and it pulled a houdini on me.
Like your work too btw -especially so because it's in ink. It takes a lot of confidence to be able to do that without an initial sketch.

I don't think it was confidence, It started as a doodle and started to come together nicely to I decided to start over on a clean sheet and kept going. I find it interesting because I can see where I made mistakes - I find the result somewhat more alive than just a sketch.
BTW - what pens do you use for your work. I did mine with an MB 145 and I'm sure better suited pens exist - I've been drawn to the Pilot 823 Custom for a while and this might just be a good enough excuse to spring for one.
Whenever I doodle with ink at home, I'll usually use dip pens. If I'm doodling at work, then it'll be whatever pens I have in my hand - doesnt matter if its a pencil, ballpoint, Rollerball or FP.
If you're not not a neat freak - a custom 823 is a great buy. I've got a Medium nib Black Demo that I use daily and its a sweet thing.
More stuff (some of these are from a few years ago):
