Cool, I’m all over trance……I also got into it a few years ago, and it was like opening a door into a whole 'nother world…………
Ps. Simon Posford is god…..

Very interesting! Oddly enough I like this kind of thing in the background when I am studying. Will look into Mr Posford when I get a moment. Cheers!

I have that album! Given to me by an old girlfriend, so has extra meaning. Very chill.
Sublime, isn't it? I own three other Brahem discs and enjoy them all. ECM (Edition of Contemporary Music) offers a treasure trove of unusual, very fine music.

Kate Bush had recently the most played song making it a No. 1 on the charts, Running up that Hill from 1985, a surprise and result of being used in a popular netflix show.

Whenever Radio France Info has a strike, they put together a series of playlists for every day - no song is allowed to be played twice - and some public-spirited people on Youtube have made up the playlists. Eclectic mix of French chanson, French hip-hop, prog rock, indie, sheer pop, and some very unexpected tracks. Highly recommended!

Revisiting Dave Brubeck: Time Out and Time Further Out.
I enjoy counting out the beats, measure by measure, which is not always easy.

This is sort of trancy. The time signature is way out.
Also like this, which sounds a bit like revved-up Steely Dan with female vocals. Great bass line.

To my ears, "Take Five" and Time Out move smoothly into the 2020's.
