So now I have this new phone to replace my 7 year old one and can play games on it.
Discovered Amanita's adventure games and enjoying my first pick: Botanicula. Charming and fun!
How about you, any favorites?

The (possibly an app?) that came with my phone has a few that I don't suck at: Monkey Jump and Alien Switch.
There's a separate one for anagrams. Uncomplicated, waiting-in-the-car games.
My other pen is a Montblanc.
And my other blog is a tumblr!
And my latest ebook, for spooky wintery reading:

My wife has gotten us hooked on June's Journey.
I use a fountain pen and a paper planner - paperinkplan.wordpress.com
I have Backgammon on my phone. Old school but fun nonetheless.
Forgot to mention the Sudoku app.

I no longer have gaming apps on my phone. Although it's not as popular as it used to, Plant vs Zombie is still my favorite game app.

The only game app that I have on my phone is DroidFish, the app version of the famous Stockfish - "the strongest open-source conventional chess engine in the world." Not for the faint of heart!
Pendragon (August 20th, 2019)
Boom Beach, Plants vs Zombies because it works offline too, and a space flight combat sim called Star Combat.

I have fallen into the abyss, but they're still stoopid games like Bubble Pop and Cool Goal (you get to destroy multiple palm trees, snowmen, and goalies).

Latest. I went desktop and bought Disco Elysium over on Steam. It’s an individual RPG that I really can’t compare to anything else. So far, my character has sobered up (some) and located his other green lizard skin shoe.

Plague, Inc. is a perennial favorite here. With your background, VO, I think you'd find it quite engaging.
Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.
Disco Elysium is on my wishlist, but probably for next winter at this rate! I only really take time to play games in winter, and this year has been Pokemon Sword and Octopath Traveller (am enjoying a lot) on the Switch and an as-yet-untouched copy of No Man's Sky for PC. Oh, and Transistor - I've only played to the first save point, but it is intriguing and I like the half-turnbased battle system so far.

Eagerly awaiting Biomutant, again over on Steam. They keep pushing back the launch date.
