The 2017 MONTBLANC Meisterstück #149 Skeleton Unicef with BB nib size celebrates an extraordinary cause with an extraordinary design.
The Montblanc UNICEF Meisterstück features the first character learnt by children around the world. The design is inspired by the Rosetta stone, an ancient artifact used to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics, created in Egypt in 196 BC.
The pen has been crafted from blue precious transparent resin featuring a brushed platinum-plated skeleton cage over the entire barrel and cap. The nib as well as the skeleton cage carry the first characters children learn at school in the six most used alphabets worldwide. The characters are embossed in yellow and white gold on the nib.
Montblanc characters are also embossed on the cap top, which is made of mother of-pearl and onyx and decorated with a 2.5mm blue sapphire (Sapphire identifiying the partnership with Unicef).
Mint condition, never used, completed with lacquered wood display box, outer box, International service certificate, booklet signed and duly stamped.
