Montblanc Petit Prince Red Fox?
Reference St. EXUPERY, pilot, WWll,
or maybe Akkernan's Oranje boven, a bridge too far ?

A sample has graced the cellar, but no longer found there.
Ahhhh, now you're getting on the right track. But I'm not in the Netherlands either.
Heh. Good efforts. fwiw, my grandpa was a Royal Marine. But that won't help you either.

Ok, now I fire Conway Steward Winston (produced by Diamine) against your mystery ink Bastion. 💪

I'm out of options, Berkin online red?
I don't know if it's made by Diamine....
Purepens St. George's Cross?
Or Purepens Pendine sands...for the racing (speed), and belonging to the military from WW2 onwards
And another artillery shot with Papierplume Eleven (made by Diamine) against the mystery ink fortress. (would consider this as really malicious from weevil if this is the right one, as this was a limited edition which is no longer available 🤯 )
Comte d'Or?
A positive barrage! Which is appropriate.
Nope to all.
And we have a winnnnnnnnnnnner!!!!!!!!
Yes indeed, the UK's answer to the salt flats of Utah for speed records, Pendine Sands in South Wales. My grandpa was stationed there for part of WWII using his ridiculously brilliant brain in ballistics-related things, the sands providing a convenient range. Unfortunately for him, he was the most junior officer (despite being a Royal Marine Major at that point) so was designated Bomb Disposal Officer. Whilst trying to diffuse one mine that washed ashore things evidently got a bit ropey. My mother, then 8 or 9 years old, vividly remembered how shocked and frightened she was when he came back to their billet swathed in various bandages from his near miss.

Wow what a journey. I was so sure that Ptero had it several times. Thanks for sharing that story, my favorite kind

Enjoy!

Hmm. Now is that trying to be a black ink and failing, or a grey? Oh well, think I'm safe to take an opening shot with no danger of being right - Noodler's Lexington Gray?

I'm sorry if the scan is misleading. Though if you look at the side written with a medium nib, you'll see there's more green than grey. I'll try to post a photo later, unless you guess it correctly and it's game over
What about L‘Artisan Pastellier Olive?
Nice drawing, looks familiar to me 😁
I was wondering if I can pay homage with my limited talent.....
Not this ink, though.... Unfortunately for Weevil
Here is a photo... I don't know if it makes a difference....

This was not a bad start, you should continue on the drawing path.
Itˋs an ability which can be learned just as writing.
Compare it with one of my first drawings in 2014 when I started after decades not even drawing a stick man.

I think you are doing not bad at all. 👍
Regarding the mystery ink.
Looking at Germany, what about De Atramentis Charles Dickens?
That looks quite nice quiet nice... If I can even do it, I'll be happy, such a lovely blue
Your drawing have been an inspiration....
ThanksI think you are doing not bad at all. 👍
Not De Atramentis....Regarding the mystery ink.

To give a not so helpful hint it there's an unintentional relationship to Weevil's last selection
Hmmm, maybe itˋs a already discontinued ink.
What about Montblanc British Racing green? .... would be a connection to Pendine Sands races.
Not a discontinued, rare, or Montblanc ink
Ok, understood.
Even I think it is way too green to be the mystery ink I say:
Diamine Green Black
Just to tick it off the list.
