Oh, I thought we were just all saying the name of the ink.

Wile E Coyote (January 14th, 2018)
Well, that's weird - where'd Migo's posts go?
Yeah. I probably could have been a bit more vague about the hint than that, but at the time I was worried that I too was killing the thread. There are times when these take a matter of hours, but most seem to take a day or two. This was onto it's 4th day and it didn't seem as though the guesses were getting any closer geographically.
sems wins the challenge...or at least was the fastest at attaching a name to the brand. Your turn to post an ink.
If anyone wants a sample of Visconti Green let me know. I'm happy to give some away. I'm not a fan of light colored greens.

I will post first thing in the morning tomorrow. I need to decide what to share.
Here you go!
It's dark and it's throwing my eyes for a loop. It looks like a black of some variety, but the default blue colors of the forum page and header bars on each post have me convinced it's also a navy/midnight blue.
Taking a stab...Robert Oster Blue Black?

While you approached the color from a right perspective, it's not a Robert Oster.
Diamine Blue-black?
Not a Diamine.
Montblanc Midnight Blue?
Not a Montblanc. Not a European ink.
Hmmm...I will have to do some research on this one. There are only 5867 blue's out there, half of which are probably navy or blue-black variants.
Okay, to speed up things two more hints:
1) Japanese.
2) Not a store exclusive ink.
Sailor Sei-boku?
Close one!
Glad I read before posting my next guess. My mind had moved in the opposite geographical direction when you said it wasn't European.
Is it just Sailor Jentle Blue-Black?
