Prompt: Storm
Another 4 done with Toffee Brown in the last 4 days so time to change my color in my Pelikan.
The next 4 prompts will have Red Dragon as primary color.
Red Dragon is one of my all time favorite red inks.
But looking at the "Storm" drawing I think more contrast would have been better.

(* strange, I thought I already posted last night... oh well)
This one is fun.
In a Teacup, they say.
The pen deserve a mini review, it's super nice to sketch with.

Inktober 2020 18. TRAP
Prompt: Trap
Biological trap, a Venus flytrap.
To be honest, my sympathy for the fly is limited

I just noticed that today's prompt of Dizzy is the same as last years on 24th. It reminded me that I didn't get that far along last Inktober....

Prompt: Dizzy
To be honest, I´m quite annoyed by this prompt.
It was already part of Inktober 2019 and now it´s in again.........
Is it really so difficult to create a list with new prompts and not to repeat one 2 years in a row???
I disliked the prompt already last year.....
Anyway here is my new interpretation of this silly prompt.

Ptero, Chrissy, truthfully, I just follow the Inktober prompts because I love to see your (and others who participate, of course) interpretations and arts.
Plus the fun of doing something together with pen friends.
If the prompt is lame or worst, annoy me, I'll just gladly skip it.
Repeating the word from last year just shows laziness, which leaves me further unimpressed.
How about next year we come up with our own prompts?

I'm quite happy to just skip those I don't like. I almost skipped "Disgusting" this time.
The problems I see with choosing your own prompts is that someone has to do it and might get blamed for any "dud" prompts, and anyone can at least get some ideas from what others have thought of for the Inktober prompts if they are completely stuck for an idea.

Chrissy,
As I demonstrated in one of the post up there, all it takes to come up with 31 prompts is to use a random word generator. It may take some curation, but even with that, it won't take any time at all. Plus we are all pen friends here, if you don't like a prompt, just skip and move on, no blaming needs to happen
As for completely stuck on ideas, i get that it's a personal thing, for me, if I'm really-really stuck and can't come up with anything worth sketching, again, I'll just skip and move to the next one.
Anyways, not trying to debate you or anyone else on this, just a suggestion, that's all.
I like your "Dizzy", by the way. Reminds me of the Fallout Vault Boy (the shirt mostly).

Will, No worries at all, and it's a good idea. Curation could work very well.
Thanks for your kind words. I couldn't think of much for "Dizzy" and this was actually copied from a clip art taken from a small group of comic images of people feeling dizzy after a heart attack! I'm not usually any good at drawing something completely from nothing like others can, and prefer to attempt to copy something from an image on screen.

Odd; as soon as I saw "Dizzy" I thought "Gillespie" so I suppose I'd have attempted to draw his famous bent trumpet. However, having the idea is a fat lot of good if you have neither the talent nor the will.
In the words of Paul Simon, you can call me Al.
