    Hallelujah for that!

    Diamine Silver Fox?
See? That wasn't hard at all

Congratulations - it is indeed the lovely Silver Fox - one of my all time favourite grey inks.

Back to you Yazeh - I'm off to choose a grey for a newly arrived pen

That was fun mizgeorge. Do you want a simple one or a slightly challenging one

Entirely up to you! I do worry about your use of the word 'slightly' though. I think this may be a special Canadian interpretation - like "it's slightly cold" or "poutine is slightly unpleasant".

I believe I tried Poutine twice and each time it was unpleasant and cold is subjective. 0°C is cold in fall and warm in spring
But you're right. I'll see what I can whip up which is truly slightly

(I only made it to 23 years but I am starting over again - now at 2.5 years. If we make it to 46 years I will be something like 100 years old! )

I've been wanting to get Silver Fox (and Terracotta) from that series. Now I want it even more after seeing your wonderful photos. (Safari and Espresso are interesting but I feel like I have enough in those tonal ranges. Of the ones I have, I am happy with Lilac Night.)

    Congrats Yazeh!

Well done, Yazeh! mizgeorge, thank you for sharing. It is a lovely ink

Yazeh, I've had Poutine several times, and depending upon where you get it, it can be quite good. A common thing here in the "southwest" is french fries smothered with chili, chopped onion and sharp cheddar cheese.

And thank you all for the kind words regarding my anniversary and wonderful husband. We actually knew each other and dated for a couple of years before we got married. And yes, we were babies - we had just graduated from college when we married. But like all marriages, we have had times where we were not so close and considered divorce. In fact, I didn't think we would make through the first year. We are both opinionated and headstrong, but also really good friends. But we dedicated ourselves to working through our issues. Then, things leveled off for us. Now, as we age we seem to appreciate each other even more. Sorry for the ramble.

I tried writing this with a dip pen, but it took so long that I gave up

Haha! Well done DrPenfection - the pumpkin pie must have inspired you I was just about to guess exactly that ink - it's one of those rare 'regular' inks that's retina-searing enough to use as a highlighter!

I'll look forward to the next one!

Thank you, Yazeh! That was a bit of a surprise. I expected something much more obscure with your massive ink collection.

Thank you, mizgeorge. Actually, I am in the process of making a pumpkin pie for tomorrow. The sugar pie pumpkin was still in the oven roasting.

In celebration of our anniversary, last night my better half and I went to a steakhouse at the Nugget. He has a bison rib eye steak and I had an elk steak (yes, we are occasionally carnivores). But what was spectacular with the steaks was the amazing bottle of Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon. Absolutely sumptuous! Anyway, after last night's dinner, we decided to make our Thanksgiving feast tomorrow. Today we are eating much lighter - a simple acorn squash soup.

And with that, I will be back in a few minutes with another ink for your guessing pleasure.

Last week, a new glass dip pen arrived. So I thought I would give it a try. And it looks like I will have to play around with a bit more to get the hang of it.

The photos were taken in full sunlight.

A couple of hints. This is not a shimmer ink and has a slight to moderate amount of sheen.

    Have fun.

Great guess, but no. This ink is not quite as saturated.
