Very cool drawings. The old virtuoso coffee cup drawing person in the Starbucks trick, eh?

That is impressive. I've never thought about drawing on Sbucks coffee cups. I almost never drink Starbucks coffee anyways.

I like the result of the wash technique you use on the Binondo Church. Same ink as the lines, I assume?

I can see some fabulous sketches on here.

I've been trying to draw a Blue Tit today, and it's proved to be tricky for me. I want to show that the colours blue and yellow go together. Anyone have any tips?

I don’t have a lot of experience with colour. When I started out, I found quite a few helpful channels on YouTube. I think I may have seen a few clips dealing with colour as well. It won’t hurt to do a search over there.

I finished my picture of a Blue Tit with some help from the web on how best to start.

That’s really good Chrissy. The various colours come together quite nicely.

All my sketches are monotone for now. I’m not brave enough to try colour any time soon

Chrissy, perhaps you could tell us which inks were used in this sketch

Oh, I'm sorry for omitting the ink information. Silly me!
I used Pilot Iroshizuku Ama-iro, plus Diamine Sunshine Yellow and Diamine Earl Grey.
