Default B&B LE Edison Pen in Blue Swirl Ebonite

I am really sorry Goulet's, but I missed out on the black and blue swirl ebonite Edison Nouveau LE pen when it came out. I can't do it twice. That material is just awesome. So, for now, the Badger and Blade 2012 LE pen will be my first Edison pen. I still want the Collier and the Encore but this ebonite pen made choosing which pen to get first very, very easy. The LE pen will be up for sale until Monday so if you like it, it can't be beat for $175 shipped as long as you are a member. I had to register. I had been on B&B for a while as a lurker off and on, this made it mandatory to register for me. It is the Huron Grande. Thanks to etoyoc for bringing this pen up in the Edison Nouveau Encore thread.

A shaving forum? Sure, why not?

There is a lot of cross over being the shaving forums and fountain pens. In fact, that is how I was introduced to fountain pens in the first place. Many of the traditional wet shavers enjoy fountain pens. It makes perfectly good sense to me. A lot of us also talk about coffee/tea a bit as well.

Some of the fountain pen vendors even have accounts on some of the shaving forums and post occasionally. They did an Edison LE last year on that forum as well.

But, for what it is worth... This will be my first Edison pen. I gave in and signed up on the list to get the pen this morning.

I believe it. I've been thinking about getting a proper brush for a while now. Any talk of typewriters? I recently thinned my herd of those particular anachronisms...

They come up from time to time in threads. I know a member on a couple of shaving forums had gotten a hold of some typewriters and had started typing his blog on a typewriter and then scanning the image.

Well Noodler's Benevalent Badger Blue was a shaving forum exclusive which would be ideal to load into the B&B LE Edison Pen in Blue Swirl Ebonite.
