    Default Damaged mail?

Revenge of the US Postal Service, or "That'll teach you not to overload the postal service with parcels, Christmas cards and personal mail with handwritten addresses!" (address deleted):

Shame. That's probably the worst I've seen.

Maybe it was used as the day's guinea pig for adjusting the heartless sorting machinery in Harrisburg.

    Nowhere in particular

I forgot to say that Apothic Red wine is my favourite red wine these days, now I can't get Brown Brothers Tarrango for a reasonable price anywhere in the UK.
I chill it in the fridge.

I absolutely do chill some red wines. Tarrango is one and Apothic is another.

I remember in my younger years, when I often went to the entrecôte restaurant in Paris (Relais de Venise), they served their red wine, "chilled". I believe their wine cellars were quite cool, hence chilled wine... it was really nice.... Now anything for trip there, for a nice steak frites and a profiterole after....

Mate, I read an wine article several years ago that pointed out that room temperatures today, thanks to central heating, is much higher than it was decades ago. The article emphasised that red wines served at room temperature today are much warmer than they should be. The article also pointed out that thanks to refrigeration, white wines are also served at a cooler temperature than they were in the past and should be served today.

I was about to write just the same thing. Only dessert wines should be close to fridge temperature, with most whites a few degrees above and reds slightly warmer than that.

So, do Merlot, and Syrah, Diamine inks need to be chilled/cooled before using?

What did the sender mistook, after only one glass?
