My friend had a golden retriever who was the biggest sweet heart. I bet Caleb leaves a line of warmed up hearts.

Yes, he does. Everyone just adores him and he sure turns a lot of heads. He's a big love sponge. He's the second Golden I've had and I just love them.

I had a Ralf, too. He was a teddybear, despite all his mixing (german dog, rotweiller, argentinian dog, beauceron).

He looks similar to my Brendle Pit, named Pharoah

Rosie adopted us at the shelter in September 2015. She's a little over a year old, and just exhausts me. The papers at the shelter said 'retriever', but she's obviously not that. When we got home, we found her first set of papers from the original shelter, which said 'red heeler'. I had to look this all up, as I was unfamiliar with the breed. I wasn't quite ready for the energy level ... and then my wife broke her foot two months ago, so I've been the sole walker in the family! (Yeah, the kids help, but ... not really.) But I believe I'm getting over the hump with her, and I think Rosie and I are coming to an understanding.

I feel your pain. Ralphie the mutt loves to run. We run 2 miles almost everyday. I'm in better shape because of him. Though there's many days I could happily sit on the couch.

This is my Rue. We were never going to have a dog. We are too busy. Then my in-law's dog had an unplanned pregnancy (these things happen) and 7 puppies needed homes. How could we not take one when we visited them weekly?
Rue is a Boston Terrier/ShihTzu/Maltese mix. She's about 14 pounds, so the same size as my cats. She's a complete spaz and we love her to pieces.

I've posted Andi here before, but we had Tucker (on the left) join our family recently. We rescued him from a not-so great home situation. He has some behavioral issues (fear of other dogs mainly) but he's a complete sweetheart. We managed to get them to sit still for 30 seconds after a nice hike last weekend.

Yeah. They weren't really carrying anything this time, but they usually carry some dog food, water, and poop bags on hikes.

If one of my dogs had food in his backpack it would be a complete laughfest watching him figure out how to get to it!
