No clue about the quote (without google) but I'll guess another MB ink, Corn Poppy Red. The lighter parts of the writing sample seem a little more orange that MBCPR but lighting can do strange things.

Yup, you're right!
And video of the movie in question. It's so bad it's amazing.
D'oh. I wasn't expecting to guess correctly so quickly. I just inked up mystery ink #19 from this thread (https://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread...Mystery-Ink-19) and wasn't planning on inking another pen for a few days (my other ink in rotation was recently used in this thread). I'll figure something out in the morning.
MBCPR is my favorite, and only, true red in my collection.
Yeah, it’s a really great colour.
I did my best to adjust the picture to show the color but I don't have any editing skills (and this is a hard to picture ink). I tried finding a pen to pair with the ink but my collection isn't stylish enough to match the ink.
Good luck!

Waterman Intense Black
Noodler's HoD?
I was worried this ink wouldn't show well in pictures--this is not a black ink.
It's far too dark for my liking which is why it lives on my shelf and not in a pen.
Diamine Earl Grey?

How interesting. It looks greenish, am I seeing that correctly?

Callifolio Byzantine?
I have no idea...ummmm Pelikan Edelstein Olivine?
Here's another writing sample pictured in sunlight. So far no one has guessed the right country. I left a hint in the original post but it may have been too subtle.

How about Diamine Graphite? I think there's just a hint of green and what I remember of the fill or two I've used of it, there's a certain similarity.
I’m not familiar with diamine graphite so I can’t say if it’s similar to this. We’re still waiting for the right country.
Herbin Vert Empire?
Still nope. This isn’t a European ink.
It's not Chikurin, is it? It seems a little dark for that.
