    Winner!
This is one of my favorites for shading range, and it has water resistance!
I have been looking for alternatives, so thank you everyone!
Now here is the full clue sheet…

Congratulations Radonactionservices!! A worthy winner - I hadn't even thought to look at Noodlers.

Typed so you don’t need to suffer through reading the rushed chicken scratch.
I might just be a color,
    But also much more.
I could be used to settle a score.
    Historically related
    To finding one’s way.
    Just use GPS!
    Modern folk would say.
    This level of creativity
    Is hurting my brain.
    In the future more coffee!
    Or I’ll have to refrain.
    But enough of digression,
    End this guessing session!
    In groups we may travel
    On attack or defense.
Is this riddle and rhyme starting to make sense?
    Now if we’re still going
    I think that’s enough.
    Any further clues
    must be less fun stuff.
I had a feeling this might end quickly, but I wasn’t going to mind.

Do you think we could get a bottle of that ink at Donley Auctions?

If I were to write Limited Edition on my bottle, maybe they'd add it to the lot...
    And then you could!

Some have hidden talents. Enjoyed it
Why look for an alternative if it works fine?

    What a great looking pen!

I'll kick off with Yama Dori

Thanks. It is one I ink up only rarely for special occasions. (I am a believer that pens need to be used rather than simply sit in a drawer.).

No, it is not Yama-Dori, though I like that ink too!

Neither of these. Never tried an Akkerman ink. Are they good?

I believe they are made by Diamine. I have Delfts Blauw, which is a delightful ink...
mizgeroge should know more about them...
